Grande Anello Valnerina - complete route for people with full mobility

GAV-ppm The Grande Anello Valnerina is a circuit for gentle mobility about 45 kilometres long, which runs entirely through the Valnerina, the beating heart of Umbria.

The Great Valnerina Ring was conceived, designed and laid out so that everyone could experience slow travel in this geographical area, a land of paths.
In fact, the ring connects many nature, religious and cultural trails, including the Cammino nelle Terre Mutate and the Cammino di San Benedetto da Norcia, Patron Saint of Europe.

The route was conceived, designed and traced so that people with full mobility, even if with disabilities or other specific needs, could experience slow travel in the Valnerina, a land of paths.

The route for people with full mobility is mainly developed on a dirt track, allowing them to walk in the most uncontaminated nature of the Valnerina, following the watercourses that characterise it, crossing the areas unfortunately still devastated by the 2016 earthquake and retracing some of the most travelled paths in Italy that arrive or depart in this valley, bringing thousands of people every year to rediscover the beauty of these villages.
