St. Anthony's Path - Stage 5, Polcenigo-Sacile

SA-05 Fifth stage of the Saint Anthony Walk: from the village of Polcenigo we arrive at the lively town of Sacile.

Leaving the centre of Polcenigo behind us, we ascend towards Colle San Floriano, where we can stop at a lovely little church. We descend along a pleasant dirt track and continue along small roads through cultivated fields until we reach the village of Nave di Fontanafredda, where it is worth stopping to visit the beautiful parish church dedicated to St. Anthony Abbot.

After passing through the historical centre of Nave, we head towards Sacile, the destination of this stage, a beautiful and lively town lying on the banks of the Livenza river, where there are refreshment stands, pharmacies and the hospital. At the entrance to the city we will have to pay attention to the city traffic. In the town, in addition to the Duomo dedicated to San Nicolò, we recommend a visit to Palazzo Ragazzotti, with its marked Venetian style.
